Background

A private client in New Kasama, Chalala engaged Landworx Zambia Limited to conduct a comprehensive land survey and geo-mapping exercise for their residential farm house property. The client required precise measurements and mapping data to support property boundary verification, site planning, and future land development.

Given the property’s dual purpose as a family residence and small-scale farm, accurate land data was essential for planning infrastructure layout, land use optimization, and compliance with local planning regulations.

Scope of Works

1. Preliminary Assessment

   • Reviewed property documentation and client objectives.

   • Identified boundary markers, adjoining properties, and potential encroachments.

2. Field Surveying

   • Deployed modern survey equipment including Total Station, GPS, and drones for precision mapping.

   • Collected ground control points (GCPs) to establish accurate spatial reference.

   • Surveyed boundary lines, elevations, and key natural and man-made features.

3. Geo-Mapping & Data Processing

   • Processed survey data using GIS and CAD software.

   • Generated detailed geo-referenced maps, boundary plans, and elevation models.

   • Produced digital records and layouts for property planning.

4. Reporting & Handover

   • Delivered a comprehensive survey report, including maps, coordinates, and recommendations.

   • Provided both digital and hard copy outputs for ease of reference.
