300 and 1300 meters above sea level. The geographical coordinates for Chongwe are 15° 21′ 0″ South and 28° 42′ 0″ East, with the Soli people being the original inhabitants of Chongwe district under the chieftainship of Nkomeshya MukamamboII.

Project description
The client engaged Landworx Zambia Limited to design and install a secure game wire fence around a property in Chongwe District. The property was intended for agricultural purposes, specifically mixed-use farming involving both crop production and the rearing of livestock and small game animals. The client required a durable fencing solution that would protect crops from encroaching wildlife, prevent livestock from straying, and provide long-term structural security.
Scope of Works
Landworx Zambia Limited was tasked with the following:
- Site Assessment & Surveying:
Conducted a boundary survey of the property.
Identified terrain variations and soil conditions to inform pole placement and foundation design. - Fencing Installation:
Supplied and installed galvanized game wire mesh suitable for agricultural security.
Constructed concrete foundations and brick bases in areas prone to digging and erosion.
Installed metal support poles at standard intervals for structural integrity.
Applied anti-rust coating on poles for durability. - Gate Fabrication & Installation:
Supplied and installed a reinforced metal gate to allow controlled access to the property.
Ensured smooth operation and secure locking mechanisms. - Reinforcement Measures:
Used cement-filled pole bases in specific sections to withstand pressure from livestock.
Incorporated tension wires for additional strength.
